Giardini pubblici

Laid out in the 1870s to add to the charms of the newly established spa town, these gardens are living proof of the mildness of the climate in Arco and contain an extraordinary botanical heritage. Cedrus deodara is the keynote around which the English style garden was planted, with the objective of adding a touch of winter greenery in what was then the riviera of the Hapsburg Empire. On the side towards the church, there is a monument th to the painter Giovanni Segantini, born in Arco on 15 January 1858.
